Summer Swim
Pre-Summer Refresher Class
Want your child to brush up on their swim skills before summer comes? These classes are open to any child that has already participated in swim lessons. Students would refresh on the class that they ended with last summer. Classes will meet in the evening one day a week for 4 weeks in the month of May. Lets get your swimmer ready to make a BIG splash this summer! *Reminder: May lessons are for those who have previously taken one of our classes.*
$40 registration fee(due at sign up)

Learn to swim
Starting in June and running through July we offer a multitide of classes for children of any age and ability. Swim lessons are divided into basic ability groups:
Level 1 - Beginners - (child, older child, adult, special needs) children will learn to float and submerge face and eyes.
Level 2 - Little Fish - children will learn independent swimming and confidence in deep water
Level 3 - Intro to Strokes - children will strengthen skills in deep water and will learn introdroductory strokes
Level 4 - Strokes - children will learn back stroke, crawl stroke, breast stroke, rotary breathing and diving.
Level 5 - Advanced Strokes - students will learn side stroke, butterfly, flip turns and improve upon back stroke, breast stroke, and crawl stroke. (must have completed L4)
Junior Lifeguard - survival and water safety technique class. preparation for life guard certification (12 - 14 year olds)

Water Babies Mommy & Me
Parent and child will learn water safety and survival skills to include survival floating, submerging face and eyes, swimming to pool wall and pool exit points, and what to do upon an accidental fall into the pool. Participating in this class gives parents skills to continue to work on water safety with young swimmers in any pool setting. Children gain a respect and love for the water!

Lifeguard Certification
Prerequisites: Students must be able to

swim 200 M any freestyle or breast stroke

tread water for 2 minutes

retrieve a 10lb brick from deep water
Tryout dates: April 6th, April 13th, April 18th
Blended learning course will consist of a 7 hr online module followed by a one day skills session and assessment day
Course cost: $300 to include CPR certification, Mask and Whistle.
Recertification Course cost: $150
online module, class & certification only
Junior Lifeguard Training
Prerequisites: Students must be 12 - 14 years old as of May 1st 2023. Students must be strong swimmers with basic knowledge of strokes.
Students will learn basic water safety skills and water rescue from the side of the pool.

Classes meet 1 day per week in the month of May for a total of 4 lessons.

Students completing the class have the opportunity to volunteer during the summer for splash class as a junior lifeguard to earn $ off of their lifeguard certification.
